The studio

I believe a brand is worth making slowly.

I'm Jason Cumbers, and I run Vertuxe. I've spent years building businesses from the inside — which means I've felt, more than once, the gap between the company you've actually built and the one your brand implies. Vertuxe is the studio I wanted standing on the other side of that gap.

I make one brand at a time, by hand, from the first conversation to the shipped site. I'd rather do a few things properly than many things at a distance. Every mark is drawn for the name it carries. Every word is written for the person who'll say it out loud.

I work with operators and founders building something real — whether you arrive with a brand you've outgrown or a notebook of ideas and a name you love. Both are a good place to start.

You won't be passed to a team. The person you meet is the person who draws the marks, writes the voice, builds the site — and the person still here a year later. That isn't a limitation. It's the whole point.

Off the clock I'm outnumbered by kids, over-invested in good coffee, and usually drawing something that won't leave me alone.

If that's the kind of studio you've been looking for — tell me what you're building.
